About the Festival

The Accra Beer Festival is Ghana’s favorite beer festival and cultural phenomenon; an annual celebration of local and international beers, recognizing brewing excellence within Ghana and West Africa.

The 1 day event is a full day’s experience of music, arts, commerce (vendors), food, and ofcourse beer, crowned with an authentic live music experience from seasoned musicians across the continent.

The Festival, being in its 6th year, promises to be thrilling experience attracting beer enthusiasts from across West Africa. With this festival we seek to project our unique urban cultural experiences to the rest of the world.

The Venue

The Labadi Beach Hotel, Ghana’s Premier 5-star Hotel is set amidst tropical landscaped gardens and in close proximity of 10 minute’s drive to the Kotoka International Airport and 15 minutes drive to the Central Business District.

The hotel is located adjacent to Ghana’s most popular Pleasure Beach and boasts a well-maintained private beach with 24 hours security surveillance offering colorful cocktails and bites as you watch the sunset.

Labadi Beach Hotel is set to meet the demands of both Leisure and Business travelers; offering a modern Spa with four treatment rooms in the serene ambiance of the beach gardens, a well-equipped gymnasium, an outdoor lap pool as well as a leisure pool, two flood-lit tennis courts and an outdoor running space within its expansive gardens filled with coconut trees.

Accra Beer Festival 2023

The 6th edition of the Accra Beer Festival will again take place at the Labadi Beach Hotel, Accra on Tuesday 26th December 2023.
We’ll be offering a targeted 2,000 attendants the opportunity to sample and learn about over 15 beer brands from over 8 brewery companies from West Africa.
Guests will also have the fun experience of good food, games, Live Musical performances, DJ sets and other, major product activations as well as direct sales for stakeholders, sponsors and partners.
The grounds will be segmented into several key areas including:

Artists Spotlight

Bessa Simons/ Former Member of Osibisa Group /

Simons is a former member of pioneering Afro-funk group Osibisa and the current frontman of the Bessa band. He is behind hits like 'Sii Nana', 'Awo Yi' and 'Belembe. '

George Kwabena Adu is a Ghanaian musician, guitarist, and an accomplished construction technician. His name, Kwabena Kwabena depicts the two vocations he is presently in.

Dj Black or the Toontoom is a Ghanaian disc jockey and media personality. He is also a radio host at Joy FM of the Multimedia Group Limited and has been the official DJ for Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

Benjamin Antwi popularly known as Mr Shark is among the finest crop of DJs currently in the entertainment industry. He is widely known for playing and promoting authentic Ghanaian music, Hip life to be precise.
